I am writing to you, my stranger, but I clearly realize that words
are just faded shadows, which have some meaning but can not fully
express all emotions and desires that fill my heart and soul. How
should I tell you about myself and my life in some words?
They say everybody has his own destiny. But I think
nobody can explain what it means. You have had your own life, I have
had mine and now both of us are looking for happiness, love, mutual
understanding. Because while we are alive we hope for better times
to come.
What is the main thing to be successful in life?
Constant soul"training". If you have never done anything
for anybody, if you have never fought trying to cope with some complicated
obstacles, you will not be prepared to face success, as these hard
things train and enrich your soul. Suffering and even failures are
terrible, but necessary. You can not taste success without it.
Everybody tries to do his best, sometimes we fail,
but we should keep trying. There is nothing in this world which we
can not find again. I am a widow, I have had a lot of losses and disappointments.
But life goes on. I believe in happiness, in
love which can not be repeated, because only new and richer love can
come. I am eager to find my happiness, to meet
a man who can be relied on, whom I will give my tenderness, care,
bliss, joy, many happy moments, which make up our life. As one of
basic human needs is to give yourself entirely to the man you love,
to disappear in him or her.
My name is Lyudmila. I am 51 (born on 20 October
in 1951) but people say that I look much younger. I am 160 cm tall,
my weight is 52 kg. I have brown eyes and blonde hair. I am a journalist
by trade, I have a good command of French
and I am learning English. I have a son Daniel, he is 11. Lately I
have worked at a tourist company which gave me a chance to visit many
countries, Poland, Germany, Finland, Turkey, Belgium, Italy, France
(I have been there 12 times), Luxembourg. Dreiser said that joy of
love is matched only by joy of traveling. It is really so... I live
in a very picturesque southern city Rostov-on-Don, which is 250 years
old. It is rich in historical and architectural monuments, parks,
theatres. On the left bank you can find camping, restaurants, cafes
where you can enjoy caviar, roasted meat, sturgeon soup, local drinks.
If you got interested in my short story, I will be glad to answer
your letter or phone call, and I will invite you to visit my hospitable
city. You will not find a better guide.
