My name is Elena. I am 30 years old. I was born and live in
Kurgan, Russia. Before telling about myself I would like to say some
words about my parents, as I believe that education starts in the
family. My father is pessimistic, he does not like anything unexpected,
he thoroughly plans everything. He loves nature, he is very practical.
He is an engineer at a building company, he is used to achieving everything
on his own, he used to be a boss at several companies. He is strict,
but just, honest, responsible and rather selfish. My mother is absolutely
different, she is very tender, delicate and romantic, loving and appreciating
everything beautiful, optimistic, she is fond of traveling and adventures.
She teaches German at school.
All above mentioned
features got mixed in my character and this"cocktail" is
not bad in my opinion. My mood often changes, but good mood certainly
predominates. I am a sociable person, I am a teacher of Russian and
literature after University, but I worked at school only for a year.
Then I became an advertising manager at a new radio station in my
town. I am good at organizing and convincing people, so I enjoy my
work. I can not stand monotony and do not like staying in the same
place for long. I believe life is given to us only once and we should
do our best to see, learn, experience as much as we can to recall
it when we grow old. I love dreaming and many of my dreams come true.
I had been dreaming of a parachute jump since my childhood and I did
it two years ago. I do not think I will be brave enough to do it once
again, but I can dream of something else.
Now, for sample,
my main dream is to meet my special man, who will share my interests
and with whom I will always feel fine and confident. Such relationship
can not be bought for money. For me well-being is not the main man’s
merit. I greatly dislike boorishness, rudeness and pettiness. Loving
people must be sincere with each other, if you get disappointed in
the person you love it is the most terrible thing which can happen
to you. I would hate to experience it once again.
Family should
be based on trust, mutual respect and understanding. Of course kids
are really important so there should be two or three of them. I was
the only child in the family and I always wished I could have a sister
or a brother, so since my childhood I have dreamt to have several
kids. Now I bring up a charming daughter, I gave her the name Nadezhda
(hope). She was born on 17th of February 2000. I am happy to be a
mother, it is a new stage of my life when I feel responsible for this
dearest little creature. And a woman becomes more womanly just after
her child is born, a lot of wonderful transformations happen and all
my friends see it."You are so different now, more graceful and
tender", they tell me.
Now while I am at home busy with bringing up my kid I have my English
lessons twice a week with a private teacher, as I learnt German at
school and University.
And now what
I look like: I am 162 cm tall, my weight is 55 kg, I have green eyes
and fair hair. I do not smoke, I am fond of good food and nice red
wine. I was born on 7 July 1972 and 7 is a very lucky number for me.
My star sign is Cancer (if it explains anything to you), there are
people who are really keen on astrology, but I am not one of them.
I think the most terrible sin is despondency and arrogance. I am fond
of going to the theatre and cinema. I like good music, but I am not
a great music lover, I like all genres, rock, rock-and-roll, classic
music, pop and disco. I enjoy dancing. I go skiing and skating in
winter, but I have never done any sports professionally. In summer
we try to go to the forest as often as possible to pick up mushrooms,
the nature is beautiful where I live. I like cooking spicy food, borsch,
baking pies, but I seldom do it, as a man you love is the main motivator.
All our life is regulated by the laws of love, it can give you wings
and fill you with energy. You can discover in yourself such gifts
you have never suspected of. So I want to try my luck putting my profile
in a dating agency. I have two female-friends who have been happily
married to American men for two years. Their example encourages me
too.
