with some people for many years. Despite all economic changes, which
took place in Russia and which made our financial situation very different,

My name is Lyudmila.
I am 56, I was born on 1 May 1946 (a year after the end of the Second
World War) in a small town on the river Kuban in the south of Russia.
My mother’s ancestors were Cossacks from the river Don and my father
comes from Ukraine. They took part in the war together, have awards
and on the victory day they were in Berlin.
I am glad to have
my birthday in spring. The snow has melt by that time and trees are
covered with fresh green leaves, first spring flowers appear - snowdrops
and tulips. I am very fond of flowers. And everything that grows on
earth is in blossom. I like beautiful landscapes, forests, rivers
and the sea. I feel relaxed and comforted among beautiful nature.
I love traveling by sea, listening to the waves and breathing sea
breeze. I like the sunshine and the smell of grass and berries. But
I am accustomed to living in a city and my cozy home, comfort and
quiet atmosphere are really important to me.
It happened so
that in my life there is no man whom I would love as I can do. In
my small town I have little chance to meet a decent man. Frankly speaking,
all well-off men are married, and I would not like to be a mistress.
I want to share my bed with a man who could be my friend, lover, defender.
I want to meet a man of my dream and to devote the rest of my life
to him, to give my beloved husband my love and care.
I got divorced
many years ago and I brought up my son by myself. His name is Vyatcheslav,
he is 25. He is an honest, nice person. After school and the army
he finished college and now he is a well-trained electrician. He is
married, he has a wife and a wonderful little daughter. We live all
together in my flat, but they have their own budget. I work as an
bookkeeper at a car-building company. I can not say that I am satisfied
with my job, as the result depends very much on general economic situation
in the country.
I have various
interests. I love reading historical novels, doing crossword puzzles,
so I often take encyclopedias in my hands. I like getting to know
something new. When I was very young I learnt singing and conducting,
so I love going to the concerts, but I like only really good music.
I am fond of visiting art exhibitions and museums, examining delicate
things made by great masters.
I have good and
respectful relationship with my son’s family, but it can not take
the place of warmth and care of a man. I feel lonely without him and
I am writing this letter to find you, my friend. I
am intelligent, honest, faithful, caring. I neither smoke nor drink,
and I have never tried drugs. I am quiet, kind, but I have a strong
character, I am romantic and have traditional ideas of family life.
I like jokes. I am energetic and have no serious health problems.
I do not like liars, eccentric people, perfidious maneuvers, quarreling,
salacity and dirty jokes.
I want to be a
faithful wife to an intelligent, honest, well-off man, who will treat
me with love and faithfulness. I can not write everything I would
like to tell you. Just look at my photos and you will understand whether
I am a woman you are looking for. I have fair hair, brown eyes. I
