My name is Elena.
I am 30 years old. I was born on 17 August in 1971 in Rostov-on-Don.
I am Russian. I am 165 cm tall and my weight is 52 kg. I am an economist
by profession after graduating from Institute of National Economy.
I am divorced and have a son born in 1998. I am charming, reasonable,
loyal, sympathetic, hearty, but sometimes I can be too categorical
and impulsive. I have no bad habits.
Let me tell you
about my life and interests with more details. In my childhood I was
a very mischievous girl, more like a boy. We lived in a big block
of flats and everybody knew each other. We were very united, celebrated
holidays together, shared troubles and helped each other. The boys
had their own company and I was the only girl who was accepted there.
We had a wonderful time together, played various games, made foil
rockets, jumped down from a garage roof. My father often took me to
fish. It was so exciting to see the sunset on the river, the clear
sky was getting pale merging into the blue river. And there the horizon
line was shining like a star. The sunrays sparkled in the waves of
the endless smooth surface. My wonderful unforgettable childhood!
We had to move
to another place, it was terribly sad to leave my friends, to get
accustomed to everything new. I think I did not get used to it fully.
At that time I got interested in ballet, a beautiful art without words,
based on a dance only. You have to tell people silently about different
events, your mood, using only your gestures, your face expression.
I admired great Russian ballet-dancers and especially liked ballets
by Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev. Their wonderful music even made me cry.
I was absorbed by ballets shown on our TV, I always enjoyed brightness
of these magnificent shows. Unfortunately in my town there is no choreographic
college and I could not dream to be a ballet-dancer. But I did not
feel disappointed, you can try a lot of things when you are young.
I tried horse-riding, gymnastics, photography and many other things.
I often put on
my mother's dresses and standing in front a mirror imagined myself
a beautiful lady kidnapped by pirates and waiting for a knight to
rescue her, or an ordinary girl who became a princess due to some
miracle, or a brave traveler discovering new lands. The theater entered
my life and stayed forever like the most wonderful dream. It has become
an unusual world, where everything was extraordinary for me. I saw
sets made by an artist, people invented by a playwright. But watching
a performance I forgot about the stage, actors, limelight, sets. I
began to sympathize with characters, to share their troubles and victories.
Dreams and thoughts of strange people became familiar to me. Without
leaving the hall I could travel to any place in the world, to any
epoch. The theater taught me to see beauty in life and people. I have
seen all the performances at our local drama theater, but I am especially
fond of Shakespeare's plays. I can not name any other writer, whose
books were so exciting, like fairy-tales. In my life theater has always
been closely connected with books. I am very fond of reading and books
have always been important for me at any time of my life. I looked
for answers to vital questions in books by Alexander Dumas, Walter
Scott, and many French writers. Books took me to wonderful worlds,
where I lived a different life together with Cinderella and magicians.
And I believed in miracle changes in life. But they can happen only
if you work, so I did well at school and Institute. Life puts everything
on proper places, like many other women I have my home, work, family
to take care of, joys and sorrows.
Now I have a
charming kid and it is the only joy in my life. But I still hope that
the fate will give me happiness of real love. I dream of a delicate
and kind man, I want to respond to his care with warmth and devotion,
I want to have full understanding. I expect my husband to be intellectual
and quiet.
Sometimes I may
seem proud and forbidding, it can be explained by my star sign, I
am a Leo. But my heart is open to a most tender feeling. The most
beautiful things for me are home, family, friendship and love. Please,
write me - I speak English at intermediate level.
