Hi, I am Elena, owner of Helene International marriage agency. I am also a member of children's charity foundation"Mission".

I decided to appeal to my customers as well as to all visitors of my site for some help needed quite urgently. One of my activities is charity. I work for Children's Charity Foundation. My colleagues and I we patronize one of the local children's home - educational boarding school in the city of Gatchina, Leningrad region. It has more than 300 pupils, 50 among them are orphans who has lost both parents. These kids aged from 2 to 17 are in a great need for toys, books, and right now especially for warm clothes and vitamins to prevent catching cold.

We are collecting funds in all possible ways addressing to our compatriots able to donate money and to contribute for this noble cause. We regularly attend to these kids offering them toys, sweets, fruit, objects for personal hygiene... As you understand all those things are "nonrenewable" and exhaustible, i.e. kids need them all the time. If you could help making your charitable contribution, these kids would be grateful to you. Donating as little as 20-30-50$US (although I used to have customers and just visitors who sent 100, 200 and even 500$US, special thanks to Gary Palmer from Florida and Greg Roppo from California) you could help us to buy warm socks, gloves, caps and other warm clothes for those kids. It is a pity that their living quarters are not well heated although it is quite a problem in general here.

When I first got this idea to write to my
present and past customers with a request to help raising funds for
charity, I was quite skeptic as I know that most people are selfish,
distrustful, chary, stingy...and first of all suspicious of everything
related to money issues. From one hand it is quite understandable as
there really can be scam or something of the kind. That is why I tried
to be as convincing as possible and as much sincere. I believe most
people will see my sincerity rather than they start think negatively.

I am happy I was able to find people for whom my appeal was
aimed - merciful, generous, high-minded, concerned for others...This
world would be a better place if there were more people like them (like you??)...

I hope that you will trust me as I am a 100% legitime
person having a strong wish to help these destitute kids. When I see
them I can't help but cry. They say that those tears are the dew of
our soul...I know I am a bit romantic (although I mostly hide it).
